Helping and Inspiring

Helping and inspiring others is how see my role as a teacher and share my passion for spinning and woolly things. But….I don’t feel inspired at the moment so  have cancelled Barnsdale on 3rd Feb and Spinning School on 10th Feb. My mother died last night  – she was 87 and worn out, and it comes as a huge relief. She was cheered on at the end by my wonderful inspirational daughters – to know them is to love them!

I hope her funeral will take place on 12th February and I can start enjoying woolly things again after that.

But in the meantimeI I hope go ahead with spinning retreat  on Friday at Knuston Hall as this is simply quality time for spinning, not teaching. I shall spend a day with the wheel my mother bought me – there’s always a place to just be  when you are a spinner….and being with like-minded spinners is always uplifting. Thank you all for your kind thoughts, prayers, cards and many gestures of support – they mean a lot and help a lot.
