Handspun Pastel Pullover

Handspan pastel pullover being a man’s choice is quite unusual – but this one is absolutely right for Mike who regularly attends Woolly Days with his wife Yvonne. I asked him how it came about…..“Oh, I decided  l wanted  something “totally different” and seeing the delicious range of colour on offer at Fibre East –  the idea for it was born.
l picked a mixture of BRIGHT coloured tops [Rainbow dyed].
l started off with 10 x 100g skeins.
We then went on holiday to Yorkshire, and found my supplier of fibre, that l was spinning, lived locally to where we were staying. So, we arranged to go round and see the “latest” creations that she had made.
l “snaffled” a dozen straight away, poor Yvonne had only just begun to look at them, and before she knew it, l had bought a good few that she had had her eyes on!!
l also decided, that l wanted a strand of white to “show off” the colours more.
As l do not knit, Yvonne enjoyed the challenge.
She was not really sure l would actually wear it in public!
It is lovely, and a treasure l shall enjoy wearing in the winter months.”
