    I’m always frightened to put fleece into the washing machine – can you share the tips please Pam. What detergent did you use; how much did you put in at a time; did you use net bags, etc

      I put it in as shown – no bag or anything – on a wool wash (cold) with Waitrose Essential Biological washing powder (cheap!) and hey ho, it came out fine. I wasn’t too worried as at this time of year there are always plenty of fleece about – no idea what breed it was but it had a good crimp and was easy to spin. Pam
