This is some of my first spinning on the e-spinner – it is an absolute godsend – I can sit by the fire and spin! Such idleness! This yarn is merino and bamboo mix plyed with mohair. I am suing it in my next shawl. Why do I keep making them? Enjoy it I suppose….

This is Mona. She is sitting on the felt pot I made some years ago at Moral Fibre. As a pot it did not stand up for long but makes an attractive cushion /pad. Attractive because Mona likes sitting on it. Rosalind M Willatts

There is a deep snowdrift in our garden this morning… the water buckets were frozen in the stable yard, but the lizard fountain here is still running.
…is that I got shut indoors with this chocolate cake….there is no excuse for the cream! I wonder what everyone else is up to? I know Ros is spinning Swarbles fleece and Jane plans to park in front of the sitting room fire with the fruits of a trip to Winghams…
