Our little HapHazard group has completed four Shetland Haps so far and four more are ‘work in progress’. the one on the left is in handspun Blue faced Leicester by Val who only learned to spin in July – she works part time, and has a family and horse to look after so it is not that she has nothing else to do but spin. Jane’s hap on the right is in a mix of handspun and purchased yarns cleverly plied together to give some glorious shades. Julia’s shawl in the centre is stitch perfect in baby alpaca and other luxury fibres! Unlike Julia, most of us have had to resort to a fair number of ‘expediency stitches’!!
