Tomorrow at Spinningschool is all about spinning fine fibres. This Alpaca hanging out to dry is from staple 10-12 inches long – I spun it long draw because I wanted it to be lofty for extra warmth. On Tuesday we will also learn how to spin it worsted and off-the-bend for a very fine yarn. […]
