We had a colourful day yesterday, blending was the most popular choice of activity. We used Ashford blending boards and a variety of fibres. The results were spectacular.

Six weavers are in Weaving Retreat at Loddington this week so HapHazard knitters is at Loddington on Wednesday 28th May and not Stoke Albany this week – If you live nearby (LE7 9XE) you are welcome to join the Haphazard Knitters from 7-9pm at Loddington Grange – (£5 with tuition, otherwise £3).
The Haphazard knitters are planning to make Radiance Shawls – with help from Erica, SpinningSchool’s Knitting Advisor. Here, Val is plying her hand dyed merino tops with some indigo dyed yarn from Indigo-inc, purchased at our recent Indigo workshop.

Ian Howard kept everyone entertained as they watched Jane’s handspun go into the dye bath…. it came out green and changed to blue before our eyes – amazing…we hope to have a workshop next time….
