Now that the minor op is all finished I‘m slowly returning to normal life – put my boots on and went outside for a short walk this morning – not very far, and had to have a stick due to rubber leg syndrome but it felt good – and even better when I got back.
And Angel hatched four chicks yesterday! Two grey, one golden and the other buff – taking the pic was difficult as she was very pecky/protective . I’ve been rearing chicks since I was 18 and the joy never fades – a miracle every time. She is still sitting on two eggs but I would be very surprised if either of them hatched now.
