My dear aunt has been staying for a week – she came to Woolly day on Saturday and did some weaving on the Knitters loom I had warped up for her to play with – she is a knitter but had never done any weaving before. On Monday I finished it off while demonstrating at Knuston Hall Open day and when I came home we turned it into this bag. The handle was given to me as a piece of ‘good for nothing dyeing that went wrong’ by my friend Judith.
The colour was lovely and exactly right for the bag and being superbly felted was just itching to be stitched on. I needle felted a few bits of fringe just to keep them in place. Nothing is ever wasted
